CME Core Onboarding - Migration Guide

CME Core Onboarding - Migration Guide

What does Migration Mean?

Migration refers to the process of changing the network provider of an EV charger. EV charger network providers provide station owners a CSMS. This allows for remote visibility and control of charging stations. A CSMS can also enable a driver app, which allows public drivers to find, activate, and pay for charging sessions.

Existing owners of compatible stations can select Future Energy as their EV network provider by purchasing CME Core. This base level of our Connected Management Experience options provides a premium network service; including a comprehensive CSMS, flexible pricing and access controls, and critical charger status indicators and reports.

After purchase, a representative from Future Energy will reach out to schedule a setup call. During this meeting, Future Energy will ask questions and initiate discussions to learn about your business goals related to EV. This will include charger use case, location contact info, desired access controls, and desired public pricing. This information will then be used to build and customize your CSMS dashboard and public location in the app.

Station Migration will be accomplished via on site visit by a technician, or can sometimes be performed remotely if your stations have a wired ethernet connection.

After migration is completed, a remote training session will be scheduled to go over your specific dashboard, and provide instructions on how to add users, adjust tariffs, and view reports.
