How to Start a Charging Session

Future Energy –Drive App: Starting a Charging Session

Download App:

EV chargers can be set up to charge any vehicle that plugs in, or to only allow authorized users.

For Public stations, any EV driver will be able to download the app and sign up for an account. Alternatively, the QR code also allows for web payments and charger activation. However, the app is recommended in order for the driver to receive push notifications regarding their session.

For completely private stations, the CSMS dashboard admin must invite users via email.

For mixed use public/private stations, a private/preferred user must be logged into the app in order to charge for free or reduced rates.
