Future Energy Core - How to Manage Users and User Groups

Creating and Managing Users: You can invite users to access your private charge points and assign them to groups for tailored pricing.

Steps for Adding Users:
- Create a user group for employees or customers
- Send invites for access to private charge points
- Assign users to appropriate groups for pricing and session access.

To Create a User Group: Under “EV Drivers” select “User Groups.”

Next, Click “Create User Group” in upper right. Enter a User Group name and Description. Click “Create User Group” in the lower right to save.

To Create a User: Public EV Driver users will create their account using the app. For Workplace charging, send users a link to download the app. It is also best practice to display a sign with information on how to download the FE – Drive App, such as a scannable QR code.

To provide access to private charging stations: If your stations are intended for partial or fully private use, once the User Group is created, Under EV Drivers, select “Invites” and Click “Create Invite.”

Select the user group you would like to add the user to, enter their email, and check “Allow Access to private charge points.” An email will be sent to the user's email address with a sign-up link.
